First CNE Program of Critical Care Nurses Society

The first CNE program of the CCNS was conducted on 16th February 2012 from 10am–12.00 noon, at the Conference hall of HNH, in collaboration with Hinduja College of Nursing and Kimberly Clark Health Care.

The program commenced with Prof Jaya Kuruvilla, Chairman CCNS, welcoming the gathering and explaining the importance of the theme. The program was inaugurated by Ms. Vinoo S. Hinduja and Mr. Pramod H.Lele, the Trustee and CEO of HNH, who challenged the CCNS to strive for excellence. The theme, “ Respiratory care, A challenge  for  CCNS was  expounded through interactive lectures, quizes and demos, by experts like  Dr. Khusrav Bajan-Consultant Intensivist at HNH and Mrs. Andrea Baldwin,Nurse Consultant  from Australia .The session also highlighted Evidence based Practice through Research  Paper (Ms. Lincy Babu) and Poster (Ms. Roby Cherian and Ms. Shreeja Nair) presentations.

Over  150 delegates  from  18 institutions  in and around Mumbai attended the sessions , including  nurses from  Critical Care areas, Clinical  Supervisors  and PG students . Each participant was awarded a certificate with 2 credit hours.

The program concluded with Vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Kavita Bhalekar, Gen Secretary CCNS.

A sumptuous repast followed, that was sponsored by Kimberly Clark Health care.
